The current trustees on the Otara Waterways and Lake Trust are: 

Chairperson: Richard Myhre – Highbrook Rotary Club.

Deputy Chairperson: Aaron Hynds – Director, Hynds Pipes;

Trustee: Jim Sinclair;

Trustee: Stephen Grey – chartered accountant, former Otara-Papatoetoe local board member;

Trustee: Hazel Jennings;

Trustee: Judith Speight - CEO Accelerating Aotearoa

Community Panel

The Otara Waterways and Lake Trust is supported by a Community Panel (formally the Steering group) – a representative group of local businesses, community groups, environmental organisations, educational institutions, mana whenua, local board members and Auckland Council representatives.

The Community Panel plays a key role in providing strategic advice to the Trust and has the ability to elect two Trustees.
